Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026. This page is maintained by TradesJunkie to answer common security, privacy, and service terms questions.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TradesJunkie (the "Service", "App", or "we"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

TradesJunkie is a phone-first all-in-one platform built for tradespeople. We provide free tools for quotes, invoicing, scheduling, job costing, and payment processing (including dual pricing so customers can see listed prices for cash, ACH, card, and pay later options).

3. Free-of-Charge Model

TradesJunkie is free to use. There are no monthly subscription fees for accessing the base software. Ordinary payment processing for successful customer payments is structured so merchants are not charged a separate per-transaction processing fee by TradesJunkie for using the Service (see dual pricing below). This free model does not mean TradesJunkie pays or absorbs chargebacks, disputes, or related network/processor fees — those remain the merchant's responsibility under Section 7.

4. Accounts and Security

When you create an account, you represent that the information is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. You agree not to disclose your credentials to any third party and must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

5. Third-Party Integrations & QuickBooks Online

TradesJunkie offers optional integrations with third-party services, including QuickBooks Online (provided by Intuit). By enabling the QuickBooks Online integration, you authorize us to transmit and synchronize customer, invoice, payment, and expense data between TradesJunkie and your QuickBooks account. You are solely responsible for ensuring you comply with Intuit's terms of service and have the right to sync such data.

6. Payment Processing and Dual Pricing

Payment processing is governed by our integrated payment platform and third-party payment processors. TradesJunkie uses a dual pricing model: quotes and invoices may list separate prices for cash, ACH, card, and (where offered) pay later. Customers select a payment method and pay the price listed for that method. You agree to present these prices clearly and transparently to your customers and to comply with applicable card network rules, processor terms, and laws in your jurisdiction.

Your relationship with the payment processor (including underwriting, reserves, payout timing, refunds, and account eligibility) is between you and the processor. TradesJunkie is not the bank or card network and does not guarantee that any payment will settle or remain final.

7. Chargebacks, Disputes, and Related Fees

Chargebacks and payment disputes are the merchant's responsibility. If a customer disputes a charge, files a chargeback, or initiates a similar process through their bank or card network, you (the merchant) are responsible for:

  • Responding to the dispute with the payment processor and providing any required evidence;
  • Resolving the underlying issue with your customer when appropriate;
  • Any chargeback fees, dispute fees, network fees, fines, or amounts reversed by the processor or card networks related to that payment.

TradesJunkie does not absorb, reimburse, or "eat" chargeback fees or disputed payment amounts for merchants. Free use of the app and free ordinary processing on successful sales do not include free coverage of chargebacks. Debits, holds, or fees applied by the payment processor under its merchant agreement remain between you and the processor.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TradesJunkie, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, chargeback or dispute losses, processor fees, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service or from payment processing through third-party processors.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
